Awareness, Acceptance, Education, Kindness, Support, and Inclusion

Our mission is simple: to create spaces where neurodivergent youth can be their authentic selves, feel celebrated, and build meaningful connections. Through sensory-friendly events, social programs, workshops, community givebacks, and partnerships with other incredible nonprofits, we work to remove barriers and create opportunities for our youth and adults.

LBC Hero Squad has proudly served our neurodiverse community since 2016. We are a parent-led nonprofit dedicated to advancing awareness, education, acceptance, kindness, and inclusion for neurodivergent youth, adults, and their families throughout Long Beach and surrounding communities

Over the years, we've hosted sensory mixers, neurodiversity dining experiences, DIY sensory workshops, Outliers Golf events, annual Neurodiversity Celebrations in school settings, and the Hey! DJ Giveback program in partnership with VIP Records and the VIP Foundation. We also bring Super Skate Posse to Long Beach, providing brand new skateboards, helmets, shoes, and inclusive skate experiences.
One of our newest initiatives, Super Sibling Day, was spearheaded by Hero Squad teen Quincy Coats. This special event celebrates the incredible siblings of autistic and disabled individuals, recognizing their support, compassion, and resilience.
Together, we're building a community where neurodivergent youth and adults feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered.
